Caballo Lake

Somewhere after Hatch, NM we found Caballo Lake. It was a nice surprise to see water in the middle of the desert. It turned out to be a lake formed by the Rio Grande (the one that comes from Colorado and forms the border between Mexico and the US from El Paso to Brownsville).

Very important sign:

Well, I suppose it is useful in the night.

5 dollars per car to enter this state park and see the lake. Blah.

And NM is full of funny names, like Raton, Ojo Feliz, Los Lunas (yes, with o), county Doña Ana or

Truth or Consequences.

Coming soon: the beer of the aliens.

Jajaja... Caballo Lake también suena muuuy botana. El pueblo ese da la impresión de estar habitado por gente bien coqueta (por aquello de ser ojo algre, :P)

¿Truth or Consequences? Ese sí se lleva un premio.
