A few days ago we went to a place next to this one. The difference with Bear Canyon is that here there is a road (built in the 30's as a New Deal project) and there are no waterfalls at the end of the canyon. I really hope no one will think about building a road in Bear Canyon in this New New Deal time. Since there is a road, there is a shuttle that takes the people from the entrance to the end of the canyon, there are nine stops. These are pics from stop number eight.

Your pictures of Bear Canyon are great. It's nice to see that the water's running now. I think it might be time to take a hike up there.
